Qwerty Quarterly Submissions
The Qwerty Quarterly (QQ) is an art and literary magazine that just calls itself a "typewriter zine" for brevity, clarity, and perspicaciousness. Revenue generated from single issue sales, subscriptions, and advertising goes toward funding QWERTYFEST MKE and its related events. We recommend reading a previous issue to get familiar with our publication before submission. Most guidelines, points of order, and persons of contact are below:
The Qwertyverse
The QQ seeks to publish articles, essays, stories, poems, art, notes, interviews, concerns, ephemera, whimsy, facts, opinions, fantasies, useful tips, unhelpful nonsense, and as yet undiscovered items of any relevance to the Qwertyverse, which is defined by virtue of its making among interested parties.
Every issue of the QQ (so far) tends to have recurring sections such as "the Telegram," "My Type," "Ask Anja," Qwerty-scopes, poetry, fiction, artworks of various forms including comics, photography, drawing, games, Qwertyverse news, articles, reviews, QWERTYFEST updates, typewriter tips, manifestos of all kinds including those for typewriters, those against AI, those for or against any certain typeface, pleas for sanity and appeals to reason.
Some issues have a theme, such as Valentine's Day, which is more commonly known as Christopher Latham Sholes birthday.
